We use several types of dermal filler. These dermal fillers are at the forefront of the facial aesthetics industry and supported by years of clinical data. The results are beautiful plump lips with a natural look.

After a full consultation, during which your treatment options will be explained and discussed in detail, a local anaesthetic cream is applied and then small amounts of the dermal filler are injected into the lip to create the desired plumper lip results.

Some mild pain is common during and after treatment. Our dermal fillers are manufactured with a built-in local anaesthetic. This can be addressed during your treatment. If you are particularly sensitive this can be discussed during your initial consultation, and minimised for your treatment.

You will be given detailed post treatment instructions. As a general rule, avoid applying make-up over the treated area. You should also avoid hot baths, showers, saunas and strenuous exercise, as well as alcohol, for up to four to six hours post treatment.

Common side effects include slight swelling, redness and mild bruising. This can be disguised with make-up and will not interfere with your daily routine, or ability to return to work. Avoid having dental work, massage or chiropractic treatment immediately afterwards.

It is common for the treated area to appear slightly red and swollen after treatment. Very occasionally there may be slight bruising but ice packs and massage can help with this.

Results are apparent immediately, although it can take a day or so for swelling to subside and the full results of your lip plumping treatment to be seen.

This varies depending on each client and their individual metabolism. Generally, the results last for up to six months on average.
