If your skin is olive through to very dark brown you need to be aware of some facts….. At Beautify we categorise skin by using the “Fitzpatrick Phototyping Scale”.
This is a numerical classification schema for human skin colour. Darker skin is not suitable for some treatments as it is easily damaged.
Damaged skin is then prone to hyper pigmentation as a response to injury. This results in dark patches of pigmented skin which is quite different to the surrounding skin.
